I was arrested back in 2013 while I was in college for an misdemeanor affray charge, I was a bad drunk, but I had it expunged from my record.
I've never had an issue with it coming up on any background checks for jobs that I've gotten since but I recently got a new job and my background is taking a little longer than usual to because of the county I was arrested in is taking a while. Should I be worried that this will come up? ... Copied to Clipboard!

If it was expunged it will not show up on a background check

If it was expunged and sealed, you're supposed to answer no to any prior arrests or convictions.

Sadly I had to answer yes but that was for a more recent arrest (again really bad alcoholic but I'm getting help now) but I passed that county's background check. Still just waiting on the county from college ... Copied to Clipboard!
