Case in point.

I went for one of my daily walks to a local store. I take the scenic route home (literally, it's quite beautiful).

Anyway, this is a suburb with detached houses about 2500 sqft or so with plenty of lawn space and spread out foliage.

On my way up the street, the speed limit is 25 mph but every single car, and I mean every single one, routinely speeds over 40 mph to the point where they look like they're going to spill over at a slight curb.

When I walk past someone on the sidewalk, they make no effort at all to move to the side or twist their bodies. I always walk to the right and respect their space without walking off the sidewalk but even then they don't budge.

I make it to the main road where the shopping complex is. Cars will commonly cut through red lights to make a right without a signal with a clear no turn on red sign. The cashier lady whom I know always complains passive aggressively at everything her coworkers, bosses and customers do and say.

On my way out, I hear someone honk their horn for a good 7 seconds straight with multiple horns replying.

When I cross the same street going home, I noticed a car with custom LED lights and tinted windows with loudly revving its engine with a motorcyclist responding with the same thing. As soon as the light turns green, they both speed very fast with the motorcyclist zooming ahead, not respecting other traffic and lanes.

When another light turned green, a car three cars back instantly honked its horn.

Walk back home was uneventful.
