I see all this hate coming in about the newer Star Wars content. I get hating the prequels - those films sucked for the most part. But were the original trilogy really so great, so ideal and insurmountable that all of the newer content is just nose-blistering dog shit in comparison? Or are fans driven by nostalgia, refusing to accept what is new or just hating it because they feel it is, in some way, a betrayal of their iconic saga?
