I guess I can do a quick a dirty kanto write up just to finish it up

Saffron City-

Futuristic City, Sabrina is the Mayor, Gym is fighting/psychic, Giovanni is president of Silph and team rocket is a group of volunteers that keep the city clean and safe

Lavender Town-

A ghost (ha) town, NPCs talk about how there was an avalanche from rock tunnel one day, and by the time a rescue team arrived, all the citizens had vanished. Mediums in the tower talk about how it was revenge for building a radio town on sacred ground

Celadon City-

Bright lights, vegas like city, tons of hotels and an arcade where the game corner used to be. In the arcade you can play games like "surfing pikachu" and get tokens for high scores. Public works let's you reopen the Arcade basement, which is now full of wild pokemon. Gym is Normal/Fairy

Cerulean City

Yuppie town. full of large mansion waterfront houses. The daycare center is here, but this is the leveling up daycare, not the breeding one. Gym is Rock/Water and features a dual battle with brock and misty.

Seafoam Islands

Now a Resort Village, the cave have been converted to living quarters for the residents. There's a gym here, Ice/Flying

Cinnabar Island

Twice as big as it previously was due to the eruption from 17 years ago. Theres a rebuilt pokemon lab, houses, a gym (fire/dragon) and if you use public works you can excavate the ruins from the old mansion to explore.
