The questing is what drove me crazy. I thought the crafting system was fun actually but I couldn't stomach all the generic quests long enough to even really unlock the secondary skills.

I hate how some materials have a time limit. That's the worse.

Leveling crafters from 50 - 60 is by far the worst stretch of things because of the availability of materials you need to gather for leves

Ixal and moogle quests help a lot though as well as GC turn ins

Gathering is extremely easy with leve burns, and even just gathering useful shit the whole way to level can be profitable, just extremely mind numbing

A friend of mine made a guide for leveling though, it's very useful
