People probably know what I'm talking about.

I'm talking about when he called Domino Black Black Widow and when he called Jopinder Brown Panther.

My theater's reaction was pretty much moaning and groaning. Especially with Jopinder. When he came crashing in and ran over the doctor, the entire theater started cheering. They were hyped as fuck, then it just came to a screeching halt when DP called him Brown Panther.

Maybe it's because I went to a theater in the hood, and it was mostly Black and Hispanic people there.

I honestly found the jokes hilarious and so did my friends. The MCU jokes were the best. "Sun's getting real low" actually got me mad because I really want to see Juggs fight Hulk now.

I'm black and laughed at the Brown Panther one.

I don't remember what everyone else was in the theater, but we all laughed when Deadpool called out Cable for killing Black Tom Cassidy.

The Black Black Widow joke was when DP was recovering his legs at Blind Al's and Cable showed up. It was basically like "oh shut up Black Black Widow"

And the crowd groaned.

This did not happen with Black Tom Cassidy though. Everybody laughed at that.

Also a little sidetracking here, but is Cable from the Days of Future Past future?

Wasn't that prevented? Though, he looked like he was 50. So that means a teen Cable must exist in Deadpool.

Fucked up that no matter what they do, the future is still fucked. DofP, Logan, and DP2.

I didn't see the movie yet but that sounds hilarious since Scarlett Johansen used to be Ryan Reynold's wife. I expected a dig at her in Deadpool 1, but I guess not.

Wonder how they each feel about the other's movie, especially in the same month. I think Reynolds gets more love since he's the star, while she's kind of a side character in IW.

The black black widow thing was actually a bit clever. It wasn't really about her race, it was about how she basically filled the exact same role as Black Widow; i.e. a sexy woman who does lots of kicking and is the sole female member of the boy's club.

The brown panther comment was pretty lazy, though.

Black Black Widow one got a good reaction. Brown Panther Meh reaction. I live in a really white right leaning area .

BTW Black Black Widow is like the super hot.

Actually, the opening scene of him fighting Asian traffickers is exactly set up like Motoko's scene from the GitS movie with Scarlett. I'm certain Ryan came up with that part.

I guess the crowd I was with just wasn't liking it. It was a packed theater. Or maybe it was diehard MCU fans and they got offended or something lol.
