The "pros" hated their fans, hated each other, and most likely hated themselves. Mew2King was found guilty of extortion and threatening to use his 'fame' to shut them a small business down because they delivered his 3ds a day late. He was also leaking other "pros" phone numbers but all the smash apologists forgave him and said it was justified. Contrary to TC's title, HungryBox is the only one of these competitive players that had any kind of social awareness and acted like a decent human. He also had normal social skills and all the other pros despise him for that. It's not their place to do this. That's risking burning bridges to community organizers.
