Don't get me wrong, other than mental illness, my old friend Anna was a great roommate. She was my wingman once or twice too lol. The lesson I learned from her was "don't room with batshit crazy people"

Yeah I used to be good friends with a lesbian. She was certainly not a guy with boobs.

Not in a vacuum. However, I avoid doing it in general, especially in places where multiple people can see/hear them, such as here. When I consider the way forums shaped the way I think when I was a kid (and still shape them sometimes now if I'm not careful), I want to make sure that the voices perpetuating stereotypes are not the only ones heard. I've had people PM me in the past thanking me for doing it so it feels like something of value for me to do
