he goes behind the tv and bats that power cord and dislodges it turning my tv off. and just now he did it the ps4. I had just turned it on and was downloading a system update. and in the middle of that, he attacks the back of the console and managed to just barely loosen the power connection. had to rebuild the database before it would let me try to download again. and it could have damaged the system. you aren't suppposed to lose power during a system update I don't think. my cat didn't used to be like this but lately he's attacking every cord he sees.

There's a bitter spray you can purchase that keeps dogs from chewing things. I know that the smell of it alone usually keeps animals away.

Maybe the cat needs other stuff to play with and keep their attention? Or maybe it is acting out for some reason?

Use cord ties, keep it neat, and play with your cat. Kitty is so bored he's attacking TV cords

Make a play area that looks like it does behind the tv. He plays with the fake one and leaves the real one alone. Or put a zucchini by the power cords so he stays away...

Sounds like the cat either needs literal batting or locked in the closet.

I actually do give him lots of attention. he's just really hyper sometimes. he's got alot of toys. but I will see what I can do
