Society is going to have to change in some way. When boys and men feel hopeless and resentful, and especially when they don't have a father to channel their aggression they lash out. Not all of them but enough of them to cause big problems. People just laugh at these kids who are losers and can't get a girl, or are depressed but it's not funny. Society needs to figure out a way to incentiveize men to stay in their children's lives. To disincentivize divorce. Finally to find a way to put a check on women's hypergamy.

On CNNs list of the 27 Deadliest Mass Shootings In U.S. History, seven of those shootings were committed by young (under 30) males since 2005. Of the seven, only oneVirginia Tech shooter Seung-Hui Cho (who had been mentally unstable since childhood)was raised by his biological father throughout childhood.
