They malfunction/break so easily. In the 3 years that I've owned my PS4, I had to replace my controller twice and I think I might have to do it again.
After a handful of months, there's always something funky going on with it and it makes playing games annoying.

Sometimes I think Sony make them like this on purpose so that we keep buying them.

I've never had a problem with mine. Best controller bar none. The battery isn't ideal, but everything else about it makes it the perfect controller.

No problems on mine yet so I cant say.

I have had a ps4 for 4 years now give or take.
Never once had a controller break or malfunction.

I have had my ps4 with 2 controllers since launch, only problem I ever had is one of them won't keep a charge as long as it used too.

My first two, the left analog stick would stutter. For example, when I'm moving a character in a game they would randomly stop sometimes for a second despite still pushing into the stick.
How the fuck both controller managed to get the same issue? I'll never know.

The one I have now, the right stick would sort of do this and whenever I'm holding down L2, it would act as though the right stick is being slightly pushed up.
Say, I'm playing an FPS and I'm holding L2 to aim; I would also slowly start looking up.

I've never had these kinds of issues with my PS3 controllers.

My biggest complaint is the battery life and the annoying light I can't turn off that just makes the battery life worse

I've been using a DS4 v2 with my PC for more than a year now, never had any issues.

Except that I dropped it once and that spring from R2 got loose. I opened it up, put it back into place and it's been fine since.

the battery life sucks but i just plug in my controller to a phone charger when im done playing, ez pz

Mine hasn't had any issues, other than having horrible horrible horrible battery life. It is so horrible. I was incredibly shocked when I got the switch pro controller and found out I could use it for 40 hours before charging instead of less than 4 hours.

Yeah, I don't have too many issues with the battery life. I've got a cable that I keep in the system and another charger close by that I normally use for my phone. Them bitches are always charged!

I've only had one issue with an analog stick, but that was because of my friend fucking it up. And that was a launch controller. The battery is ass though.

I've used 5 separate controllers and never had one last less than 7 hours.
While that isn't very long, it's a far cry from "less than 4 hours". Like come on.

Not an exaggeration at all. Mine lasts for less than 4 hours. I had to buy a long cable to keep it plugged in whilst playing if I want to play for longer than 4 hours.

Ive had the original controller for two years. Quit breaking your controllers.

I would if Sony didn't make them at bootleg quality.
