we just finished reading life of Pi, so i had this question in mind

so like, if the person that died has gave consent to the people (while he was alive of course) that his body can be used for consumption, should it be allowed that his dead body can be eaten?

of course if there is no consent, then eating a dead body is illegal, and you obviously cant murder someone either to eat them.
