It happened at the Senior Dance at Double Tree Hilton Miami Airport Convention Centre where the theme was "welcome to the jungle" as organizers decided to take up the theme...LITERALLY by arranging a fully grown tigerto be trotted on the dance floor This outraged one of the sisters of the students there who said "My mo doesn't appreciate that she spent $200 for prom and got this type of attraction" said Marie-Christine Castellanos. The 19 y/o said "He'snothing more than an object that people used to amuse themselves in exchange for money"..her brother is not coming forward for fear of reprisals from the school The video showed the tiger being paraded around the dance floor as the body language of that tiger looked unhappy as he was JUUMPING towards students as it was pacing up and down wanting to get out to kill the people watching it... It wasn't the only exotic animal brought there but birds, a lemur and 2 macaws and an african fennec fox were also there... The school DEFENDED it stating the animals were minded by state licensed handlers Ron Magill, an animal expert agreed and said that the tiger was just looking a way to get out of the situation as he was surrounded by people with cell phones, lights and jugglers with fire. However, he did find it disgusting that it was used for parties as he felt humans were passed the exploitation of animals.. Another animal expert claimed that even if the tiger got out, it WOULDN'T have killed anybody because it would just try to escape...
