I felt this way about the original movie, which I was very skeptical about going in and I'm doing it even more for this one despite liking the first one, because this is a sequel to an action movie and those are pretty difficult to make good. So it's a matter of can they catch the lightning in the bottle twice for me. Oddly enough, was the same way with John Wick (the same guy who directed DP2 co-directed those). The first movie surprised me with how much I liked it and I was skeptical about the second movie being being good and, again, they surprised me.
