American Airlines have made the decision to basically ban ANIMALS on their planes that including insects, spiders, hedgehogs and GOATS..but MINIATURE HORSES are still allowed!!

These pets that are included as "emotional support animals" will no longer be allowed on their flights as they've also banned unclean animals or animals that stink because they pose a public health or safety risk

The revised the guidelines revealing those who want to bring animals on board now have to file paperwork 48 hours before their flight.

They've always needed a letter from a mental health professional could fill out the paper on the day of their filght but now the airline is being stricter about contacting these professionals to verify the ltters

Animals will now also be required to be kept on a LEASH or HARNESS throughout the flight

Animals that also show aggressive behaviour will also be banned from the flight and said "We support the rights of customers, from veterans to people with disabilities, with legitimate needs for a trained service or support animal. Unfortunately, untrained animals can lead to safety issues for our team, our customers and working dogs on board our aircraft"

This comes as they revealed they banned 50 dog breeds and 4 cat breeds in cargo. It also comes after a 10 month old French Bulldog died after being stashed in the OVERHEAD BIN on a flight.

Delta will also implement this policy for their flights as well

Any of your standard pets {things you could find at Petco [also you should never buy an animal from Petco (or any other pet store for that matter) because there are plenty of animals out there who need homes and are up for adoption]} are okay with me.

It's a good thing. I was tired of all these snakes that clearly aren't comfort animals on my plane.
