Yeah, it's kind of a mixed bag. I do know way more people who worked hard and succeeded than worked hard and stayed poor though. Some are just stupid and lazy, while others are unlucky.

Yes.

Hard work + valuable skills + productive life habits = more money and wealth.

However, people mis-attribute the cause of that money and wealth. Because good life skills and habits are generally passed down by parents who have them, people think that it's becaues of the money and wealth that their children are more likely to be successful. When really, that's just a symptom of the underlying cause. The parents have money and wealth because they have good skills and habits, and then their children have more money and wealth becaues they passed on those skills and habits to their children.

But the dumb poor person on the outside looking in sees only that fact that parents have money and then children have money, and thinks that's the cause and therefore supports laws and government programs and tax incentives that take more money from people who have it and give to or use it on poor people. "That will fix the problem! If we just had some of that money, we'd be able to use it on obtaining skill!" - but no, sorry that's not how it works. Life isn't an RPG where you just go down to the skill shop and buy permanent skills.

Good post. And when the government replaces the father or household breadwinner, it undermines a stable family structure and keeps the negative cycle going. Fatherless communities go to shit and you have kids in an environment where almost nobody works an honest job. No amount of government spending can solve a problem caused by government spending.

No it's actually the skills and life habits that are passed down in the family, not the wealth. It's just that people with good habits and skills tend to have more wealth.

Right, because Paris Hilton has more skills and life habits than 99% of the cpuntry.

So like .01% of drivers on the road?

Sure. For that .01% (which would be tens of thousands of vehicles, FYI, 94 is needed, or, octane boost additive is needed.

Don't know why you'd think that just because a small amount if people need it, relative to the unwashed masses, that it doesn't matter.

It absolutely matters in terms of how many people are willing to stock that kind of gas at their gas stations. Some will, but most won't.

Most common modern way is to run 10% ethanol in your 91 premium fuel.

Ethanol's lower thermodynamic potential mimics a slightly higher octane rating. So you can get a 94 rating with some ethanol over a more expensive process of adding octane.

Big reason why guys with boosted engines run E85. You can run stupid boost with it.

I find it ironic that the one guy is complaining about not having 94 (or whatever octane) available, then proceeds to say shit like.... "That's tens of thousands of vehicles"

Well, here's something apparently "rich" people don't understand. The rich above you (oil conglomerates) make more money off of poor people, then they do you. Hence why your precious 94 octane fuel isn't available everywhere.

You're literally worthless then the mass of poor people in this country. Sure you can live comfortable, (unless you got your money illegally in which case you'll always be looking over your shoulder) but a majority of the companies out there, don't cater to you.
