Edit: Buuuut because I'm nice, I will say that Nintendo was definitely shooting for variety. Same reason we didn't see Dreamland 3 or another RPG on there.

They should have put 2 on there at least but I can live without 3. But maybe then some people would have complained and said it should just be the whole trilogy at that point. Or they'd complain and ask why there was only one FF and MMX game each. That would assume Nintendo actually pays attention to complaints though which they don't. It's possible they would have had to pay Rare more but I kinda thought they fulled owned all three

Was Project Rainfall the last time consumer feedback had impact? I feel like Mother being released was sort of similar, but had they really bothered, then Mother 3 would have been released by now.

Maybe a SNES mini 2 will come out with them on it and other games like Kirby dreamland 3, Chrono trigger, mega man X2, super Street fighter II and so on.. lots to make a mini 2.

The thing is piss easy to put roms on as it is. They even left a message in the code that says something about enjoying the good ol days with it's space for nearly 100 more games.

Same reason why MegaMan X 2 and 3, Final Fantasy IV wasn't on there and Sega never puts Sonic 3 on the min Genesis stuff (and sometimes not even S&K). They're run by a bunch of morons.

Yeah thats what threw me off. I figured thered be space for a lot more games.

I could understand if they were either planning on selling expansions for it, or you could buy more games for it.

I dunno, it would have been nice if they put a lot more games on there, especially ones that didnt have to be licensed

I wasn't, but I would 100% agree that this is a valid statement about Crash Bandicoot as well. In general, most trilogies that I've played, I seem to find the 2nd to be the best; Spyro being the exception (where I'd say the 3rd is the best).

Agreed. I've seen arguments that say that it was about gimmicky levels from the start, and that's sort of true, but the gimmicks where much more subtle in the first two games. They feel so tacked-on to each level in 3 (and some of the late levels in 1), but much more organic in 2.

Actually I'd probably say 2 > 1 > 3 though. Of course 3 is way more interesting and refined than 1, but it's such a labor to play through.

Anyone have issues with input lag? I have my tv in game mode and I'm still dying a bunch in SMW, and it sounds terrible with my Vizio sound bar

I don't think I've ever conclusively noticed input lag in any game. Sounds like an excuse people make for playing poorly, git gud.

But seriously... I don't know. And I haven't had audio issues either.
