The U.S is Isreal's bitch and Trump is eager to get into a war because war time presidents get a bump in the polls and get to do whatever they want and more importantly the public and media suddenly forgets whatever actions and crimes they were caught up in prior as the masses start demanding loyalty and out those who aren't as traitors who should leave America if they don't like it.

Funny how Trump hates the Bushes yet he wants what Bush got from 2001 to 2004.

Making the rich even more powerful, injecting more religious views into government, removing or refusing to enforce policies that protect minorities (particularly those of lgbt people, racial minorities and the disabled), policies and literal rants against allied nations in spite of facts, the largest increase and number of civilian deaths in the middle east since the first soldiers set foot there, oh and the whole "literal Nazis walking through the streets" thing. But hey, you and they both voted for the same guy. Imagine that.

Getting into war with Iran and sanctioning our European allies does nothing to "make America great again."

1) We aren't going to war with Iran.
2) The (potential) sanctions are about putting America first.

Because it makes the largest recipient of US foreign aid happy and therefore pleases the Neocons who are the architects of recent US foreign policy.

European nations are not US "allies". As with most diplomacy, the US has used them for its own interests. A staging point in Europe to project force outwards. That's just the way international diplomacy is.

Basically.

How can Anyone trust America at this point when they may do a U turn out of nowhere and turn on long term allies as a result. At best countries are just going to be wary at any associations and pull away as too risky dealing with a flipflopping child.

I truthfully will be amazed if they dont back off being our back up in agreements and sanctions with us for a long time. This is the second time a US president has done something this drastic in the last 20 years where we agreed to something with other countries as allies then went ahead and did whatever the hell we wanted anyways.
