tl;dr Im nerd raging.

Why the fuck was Tartakovsky even thinking when he wrote that last batch of episodes of the show. How do you, in good faith, sit on a show for 10 years and the fucking ending is what you come up with.

Except, its not just the last episode that was bad, it was everything after the point where Ashi joined up with Jack after she switched sides. I cant understand how you spend 6 episodes building things up in an entertaining way, and episodes 7-10 is what you end up with.

Tartakovsky is a hack writer and the only reason hes so successful in the animation industry is because of his artistic aesthetic. And that only barely make a up for hack writing. I mean look at Hotel Transylvania. But people were still so excited for his potential take on the axed Popeye movie, and Im glad it got canned, because Im sure the actual product wouldve definitely looked nice, but the story wouldve been shit, and I bet people wouldve eaten it up anyway.

I think about this pretty much every week.

I've always thought the aesthetics of that show sucked. Sucks to hear the plot sucks even more.

It was worth it for the wolf episodes.
