Cops in Kansas are now BANNED from having SEX with people they ARREST or even PULL OVER at traffic stops under a new law that was introduced by Democrat Cindy Holscher!!!

Republican Gov. Jeff Coyler signed the law where Kansas was among 33 states where consexual sex between police and people in their custody WASN'T a crime!

Polilce were banned from having sex with people in jail but the new law bans sexual relations "during the course of a traffic stop, a custodial interrogation, an interview in connection with an investiation, or whiel the law enforcement officer has such detained"

Cindy said the legislation grew from the case of Lamonte McIntyre who spent 23 years in prison for a double murder he did not commit. He was released after police found out the detective who arrested him had coerced sexual acts from women in Kansas City's black community and threatened his mother with arrest!!

Lamonte's mother believes the detective targeted her son after she spurned his advances

Cindy was influenced to introduce this after a New York case where a teen said she was raped by 2 cops in the back of their van.

Democrat John Carmichael said he was shocked to learn that such behaviour wasn't illegal in the first place..

Only Republican John Whitmer didn't vote on this as he said a cop wears a body camera anyway so sex on the job would be hard to get away with and that there's always going to be "one" bad apple.

32 other states STILL allows Cops to have Sex with the people they arrest!!.

Do you think this should be illegal??

What if you, as a cop, are given the call to arrest someone for public drunkenness, and it turns out to be your wife.

Jokes aside from all the cases I've seen involving body cameras the police apparently have the right to refuse handing over body camera footage, and if they do hand it over have the right to heavily edit it first, so body camera laws seem to be meaningless.
