But isnt degeneracy due to greed and selfishness? Like its what happen when people become greedy, apathetic and dont wish to help people. So how can people on the right says Left promote it when its connected to greed and purely being selfish. Which is a humanitarian issue i feel

No, that's not what degeneracy is.

Greedy like coveting other peoples' money? And the issue isn't "helping other people," but instead an overabundance of entitlement encouraging people to not help themselves. Creating large groups of able-bodied people who depend on the government isn't just bad for those individuals, but it's bad for society as a whole especially when not enough people are producing. And, all things considered, *both* conservatives and liberals are incredibly generous when it comes to social spending, but leftists tend to go more overboard.

When it comes to nature, it's generally understood how easily you can turn an able-bodied, functional, wild animal into a non-functioning one by feeding them and creating dependency which atrophies their natural skills. However, this generally understood truth is neglected when it comes to people so as a society we've gotten into the business of creating NEETs -- people who *could* be fully-functioning, contributing members of society who instead have become dependent and are a net detriment. And it's not solely a political problem, because you have a lot in kids in their 20s and 30s now who are still depending on their parents' income (in addition to whatever they may or may not be getting from the government).
