City is called Ningbo. Salary is roughly $2,800USD/month with an increase of up to $500/month more after 3 months (3x what I'm making in Thailand). Also get bonuses for every student who signs up to the school after a demo. It includes a free apartment within 5 minutes walking distance of the school.

I'll be separated from my wife and daughter for up to 2 months which will suck but once I'm there I can apply for the family visa.

Looks like a real nice school though. They are a new language centre that's only been open for a month but has already gotten a large customer base since opening. I'll be teaching mostly kindergarten level and they get to do sports, art, music, etc for at least half of their lessons which is a nice change from what I do in Thailand.

I have to a get a criminal record check from Canada which is a pain in the ass. I'll have to call my embassy in the morning. It very realistically looks like I'll be in China as early as the beginning of June.
