Flight Simulator X, if that's the only video game I can have. I can practice cross-countries before I fly them for real, complete with nav and comm frequencies, set up weather, approaches, etc. Infinite possibilities with real-world application.

If I could have a flight sim plus an "only-in-a-game" type of game, my next choice would be one of the Monster Hunters, probably MHFU, lots of flexibility, my current 2500 hours only scratches the surface.

If we can include real life games, solitare or basketball. So many different ways to play those games.

Ummm NBA obviously.

Perfect for if youre marathoning on a weekend with its deep role playing elements, or just need a quick 20 min gaming fix you can play an entire match.

toss up between an elder scrolls or fallout game. if i'm going to only have one game to play it might as well be a role playing game that allows me to actually roleplay various types of characters. with elder scrolls it would likely be skyrim i'd choose, for fallout I really can't decide between 4 or new vegas.

skryim would likely win overall though because more race options to help change things up from playthrough to playthrough.

Yeah probably this. But the question is do I pick the newest one (2k18 or 2k19 coming in October) or do I pick the best one (2k11)

Or possibly do I go with gta 5?

Definitely one of those tho

Because while I find plenty of games better I can't think of any that's as easy to waste so much time playing again and again.

I meant why that one compared to Morrowind or Oblivion? To each their own, I've just always found more variety with the older games.

I will admit better graphics help. and while I love morrowind some aspects of the game play are just hard going back to.

when I play a game like elder scrolls I actually role play a character so being able to do things like get married and even simple actions like being able to sit in a chair greatly help with getting immersed in the experience.

While I liked the improved graphics and added features, I especially liked the existence of the shout system and, of course, the giants and dragons.

yeah those where great too. my biggest bitch was lack of unarmed being a skill you could build up. though i've still managed to punch a giant to death before (using an orc's berserk ability anyways)

but it kinda ruins a joke character I tend to make of a drunk nord who runs around half naked and likes to punch things and people.
