Charmander and Squirtle are both good long term though. Dratini is overrated imo though, takes too much exp --- I am basically am I. Team Rockets secret hideout under the casino in Celadon is where you get the Silph Scope, which is entirely skippable if you get the pokedoll. The Silph Co. Office Building is where you get the Master Ball, and is a requirement for unlocking the Saffron City Gym. Ic3Bullet 05/09/18 5:31:32 PM #20:	Bout to run through Route 16-18 (Cycling Road and route leading to Fuschia City) to prepare my team for the last gym. My team will be: Dugtrio L32 Alakazam L36 Venusaur L33 Blastoise L36 Kingler L34 Golem L38 That will basically be my party all the way up through the Elite Four, except My L34 Jolteon will replace Dugtrio, and Ill replace Kingler with Moltres after I catch it. After that, the only trainers I will not have fought will be on Routes 19 and 20 (water between Fuschia and Cinnabar). Ill go there after Ive beaten the game and acquired Mewtwo on my way to acquire Articuno and Zapdos. The whole reason Im playing this game is because my roommate and I are both trying to complete the Pokdex on Gold and Silver. Gotta have those Legendaries, starters and the 2 fossil Pokemon from Bue in order to catchem all! My roommate also ran through Blue and we agreed to each get the opposite fossil Pokemon so we could trade. Thats right, fuckers! Were playing the game on old school GBAs and trading via actual link cables!
