it's something I've done since I was young. I only started watching people play on twitch a few days ago, and right now I'm having a blast helping this guy figure out which heart pieces he hasn't collected yet on Majora's Mask.

Anybody else enjoy doing this?

I definitely understand the feeling but at the same time I really don't like it when someone talks about playing a game / streams a game for the first time and how so many people's first reaction is to tell them all these secrets and tips and hints and etc rather than let them figure out anything themselves

should only give advice when it is explicitly asked for imo

Exactly why I would never stream a game unless I had already beaten it or if it didnt engage me in such a way that I felt compelled to beat it with no help.

I like showing them glitches after seeing them beat the game legitly. Blows their minds.

I dunno, I think it can be fun sharing that first experience and some people just like seeing other peoples first approach to a game. any streamer who gets really bothered by it though should probably put "no hints/tips please" or something in their title though
