Notable Accolades:

Practically nobody saw this upset coming. Knuckles defeated Magus by 1,756 votes.
Knuckles was stuck facing against Solid Snake in Round 2 in 2002, 2003 and 2004. That hurt what his true strength was.
This wouldn't be the first time Magus lost in a Round 1 match. Magus hasn't been the same since this match.

True that. What I also meant in that last sentence was Magus losing to Sandbag in the first round in 2008 and Alucard in the first round in 2010.
