They were THIS close to beating Thanos, but then Starlord had to **** it all up because he couldn't control his emotions.

As much as Starlord was an emotional fool, Gamora being the only person who knew where the stone was is the biggest fuck up.

Thor coulda killed him in one blow but went for his chest instead. That did bother me a bit. Star lord didnt bother me that much.

1. Hulk was traumatized by getting his ass beat. Him transforming wouldn't have made a difference as the henchmen were killed anyway and Hulk can't do anything to Thanos

2. Thanos can teleport wherever he pleases. Even if Strange stayed on Earth, Thanos would have just come to them for the time stone. The location hardly matters.

4. Gamora had already made the mistake of telling Nebula. Telling him where it was was just putting off the inevitable. Thanos would have gotten it out of her eventually.

5. Thor had almost no agency where it landed. If you remember Thanos blasted Stormbreaker head-on, and it landed in his chest after it burst through. Whose to say if it was blasted at a different angle, it's trajectory would have been changed, not hitting Thanos at all etc

6. Strange gave Thanos the time stone because it was part of the one of 14 million+ plaths where the Avengers win

7. If he didn't make him the Gauntlet, Thanos would have tortured it out of him.

You could argue that Star Lord fucked up by going to Titan to begin with. If they all gathered up together they might have stood a chance.

Same thing with Tony being too proud to call Cap. Vision would have avoided being ambushed if he was warned earlier.

There's an extremely high chance that even had they managed to get the gauntlet off Thanos, he would have just gotten it back when he inevitably broke free of of Mantis sleep move. Dude's stronger than Hulk and super intelligent.

Thor should have went for the kill and ended it. His hubris and lust for revenge bit him in the ass.

Yeah, Strange took an oath. He's also supposed to be the god damn protector of reality. Should have sucked it up and destroyed the stone.

Captain America/Wanda should have just let Vision die.

possibly he is more powerful than Thanos with the power gem. Dormys only weakness was being trapped in a time loop by the time stone

Honestly I thought Gamora and Loki caved way too easily, on the same trick too.

But Tony is an interesting point. That happened before Strange saw the future, so who knows how winnable it would have been if all the Avengers stayed on Earth to fight Thanos together. Tony really did fuck up by splitting up the team.

Starlord cause he should have waited until AFTER they got the gauntlet off to ask questions and say shit to Thanos. While I understand he was very upset Thanos is way to powerful for him to fight with 4 stones already in the gauntlet, he should have let the others work their plan as failing showed he could do literally NOTHING against the mad titan.

Hulk being a little bitch after he got his ass kicked ALONE against Thanos should have stopped acting like a whipped bitch and tried to get revenge with the other Avengers there. Hulk acting like a cry baby when he lost one on one against Thanos is just pathetic, losing should have humbled his ass to the point he would accept "there is someone stronger" and that he needs his allies not sulk and refuse to try for a round two. Hulk's never lost or gotten his ass kicked but the way he reacted was honestly pathetic.

Those vague powers actually came from the Mind Gem. So this isn't exactly a 'random earthling' situation so much as 'the one' person who has a connection to the gem stepping up.

1. Hulk is basically a child throwing a tantrum.
2. It actually is working.
3. The love of his life was just killed by Thanos, why wouldn't he overreact? That is human nature.
4. She was trying to save her sister... stupider that she told Nebula instead though.
5. The head and arm are small targets, better to go for the torso and have a much higher chance of hitting.
6. Literally all part of Strange's plan.
7. Was threatened and tortured.
