That'd have been badass. I'm kinda ambivalent to it because I beat DKCR, but it would've still made a great combo cart.

Well, the Wii U wasn't a great seller, and you're Nintendo thinking, "Well, everyone loved this one game". Giving it to a new audience makes sense.

Not really, but I loved DK Returns and I know TF is considered one of the best modern 2d platformers and the game has an amazing OST I've listened to so many times I wanna hear them in action.

So, to go off on a random tangent here, I always found it really baffling how DKC2 and 3 didn't even have the leader of the bunch as a main character.

I love Donkey Kong. He's a badass. I don't want to play as.....Diddy. Not for the whole game. What were they thinking?

If you thought world 1 was good, wait until you see what world 2 has to offer - 2, 5 & 6 are the best worlds in the game imo.

They get even better. Definitelt some of the best platforming bosses I've ever experienced.

The point of the new system is to make money for Nintendo.

Which is pretty easy to do when you can re-release games that basically nobody played because nobody had a Wii U.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe sold 8 million copies on Switch. That's completely bonkers, but even more so when you consider that it's pretty much just a port whose only major upgrade is a fleshed out battle mode and a jump to 1080p.

And yeah, to address what some people have said about difficulty of the game. Yeah, it's pretty hard. The game is taking it's gloves off in world 2 already and some of these levels are pretty tough.

Like other people have said though, it's difficult in a fair and fun way (so far).

Idk if theres a lot of post-game stuff, but theres World 7, time trials, and hard mode.
