Yeah, I know that feel. Before I settled on my current job, I had several interviews and all of them were 400 miles away at a minimum or 2000 miles away at the most.

An hour isnt that long of a commute. Id say its below average of most daily commutes.

Per a quick Google search with no additional investigation, avg US commute time is about 25 minutes.
