The household is gonna be very noisy at 4:30am for another month or so and I can't afford to keep losing that extra hour+ of sleep. Anyone got recommendations?

Past exp with straight up ear plugs has been uncomfortable, poor fit, didn't work, or sorta worked but I can now hear my own heartbeat at 10000x sound. If some of these really work for you feel free to add em.

I ask because a quick search on Amazon shows crap that either doesn't block sound or is for gun ranges, not sleeping.

So, regular foam type plugs don't do the job? I use earplugs at work and they're not uncomfortable, but I guess they tune out what I need and allow conversation.
Maybe something with noise cancelling is what you need but that's generally not necessarily comfortable
