Divine Child High School in Dearborn, Michigan have already pre-planned how they will handle girls who wear "revealing" dresses...

They will hand out these outfits with bright colours and patterns that are currently on display at the school to warn them they will wear these ugly outfits if they show up with inappropriate dresses.

It says "If your dress code does not meet our formal dance dress requirements, no problem! We got you covered..literally"

Students, along with their parents already SIGNED an agreement to the prom guidelines which means no girl will have exposed cleavage, 2 piece dresses or visible midriffs. They also can't expose their shoulders or knees

One student speaking anonymously said the school has gone "too far" by debuting these ugly outfits

She said "As we walk into prom, we are to shake hands with all the teachers and if you walk through and a teacher deems your dress is inappropriate, you will be given a poncho at the door. They are basically calling us sluts. Who knows what will happen to those who try and speak out against it"..

Mary Pat O'Malley, the theology teacher came up with the idea for these outfits as its meant to show respect for the dress code and to make sure their dresses follow guidelines.

She said they're trying to focus on "INNER BEAUTY" rather than exposed outfits.

Erin Wade, a junior bought her dress in January but is now having 2nd thoughts as she's worried about her neckline..She eventually bought another dress since prom is coming fast.

One parent strongly opposed the outfits as it's a method of shaming and bullying to degrade girls

The school is 51% female and 49% male and although it doesn't specifically target girls, it does mention "dresses"

The biggest complaint was that teen girls showed up with dresses that showed off their shoulders and knees and and this was a way to cover them up for their "protection"

Were teen girls allowed to show off their "shoulders" and "knees" when you were in high school?
