I don't think either him or I was saying that people in the military ONLY have one opinion. Hell, I had some crotchedy ex military approach me and tell me not to take a knee during the anthem and was saying he'd shoot anyone that did. I have no fucking clue why he fucking said that to me other than the fact that I'm black. I'm not a football player. Regardless, I reminded him of what amendments were in the Constitution and asked him if he stood and put his hand over his chest every single time the anthem was played and of course he bubba-gummed there. If he hadn't have left the bar, he woulda got to see me kneel on stage while singing America! Fuck Yeah!

That just goes to show that idiots are everywhere. No one is infallible to that extent. People idolize soldiers and put them on a pedestal and whatnot. I've met plenty of veterans who are now retired or were farmers and are Conservative and probably said racial slurs too many times. I know older white guys because I have to be the guy who give them their coffee and my daughter's black and biting my tongue because people want to make racial remarks and feel safe around an 'all white' crowd is the safest bet I can make.

People talk about race and how it has nothing to do with anything but I've met the Trump voter and I know as long as the black man is saying yes to the white man, that's all they care about. Kanye is Trump's new pet dog and everyone loves him now that he's wagging his tail.

Left, right, i give two shits about it but I've mostly known Republicans, having lived in a red state all my life, and most of them seem like assholes. CE, being outside of my comfort zone, just kinda proves it.

I've gone on Facebook and met the same kind of people but let's just go back to how I'm affiliating the people around me with the whole group. It seems to come around the same boiling point. In fact, the Republican agenda seems to be full of it.

All with gays, guns, and religion, most of it seems like its trying to take away freedoms to people that don't agree with them.

As for the lefts, I've seen some crazy stupid shit but I've seen that on both sides. I might see some asshole going around but it doesn't seem to be just because of their leaning. Not saying none of them are assholes but they don't seem to support an asshole. The right supports Trump.
