Yeah, but its something that one has to be very conscious of, I think, which is what these parents are generally trying to do. It also requires making sure your children are exposed to some concepts at an early age, like the spectrum of gender, so that they can normalize it and, if necessary, define themselves within it (even if its simply as cis)

Gender neutral is one thing; but if a boy cannot be called a 'he' or a girl a 'she' then we have problems. Until the children decide what they want to be called, we should refer to them as what they are.

It sure as hell didn't break me, it merely made me roll my eyes. The people who are dishonest enough to pretend that it reflects upon millions and millions instead of just the handful of individuals actually doing this made me shake my head. There are so many in our society that either have serious delusions or merely delight in telling blatant lies to push their agenda, and that in itself suggests the nature of a sociopath.
