I think I played this for about ten minutes on the Gamecube. I was really, really bad at it. Juggling both spacial and color perception proved to be too much.

But when is Final Fantasy 4 going to be on switch?

What are you trying to say? That the game was always intended to be played windowed in widescreen? It wasn't. It was an arcade game

to be fair you can turn the switch sideways and play like that as well though I don't know how practical it will be button-wise

Yeah, and they're all compromised because of it. Some of the ports will support different orientations if you have a vertical display, tho

I don't know if I agree with a port being "compromised" because TVs can't be flipped on their side. Like, depending on the size of your TV, that windowed display might actually be larger than the original cabinet display. I do see the point that the handheld screen size might not be great, but I've used my Switch as a handheld like maybe once or twice, so *shrug*
