Infinity War is the most ambitious juggling act ever put to film. It's not trying to accomplish the same things that most movies try to accomplish. Infinity War is a one-of-a-kind, comic book event-style movie... the equivalent of a television series finale, but on the big screen. --- BKSheikah owned me so thoroughly in the 2017 guru contest, I'd swear he used the Lens of Truth to pick his bracket. Agreed I don't get the TDK boner I used to think TDK was overrated, but after a few years and several more viewing, the acting, the writing, the quality of the villain (I think it was the first CBM with a quality villain, with complex character) and of course, the ending/sacrifice and what it means to be a her, finally hit me. My favourite line of all movies, ever: "Because some times the truth isn't good enough, some times people deserve better, sometimes people deserve to have their faiths rewarded". That alone encapsulated everything there is to be a hero and Batman.
