When we lived in an apartment we could hear our upstairs neighbors doing everything (including each other if you get my drift). One day there was just this furious pounding sound for like fifteen minutes and finally we had enough so we went upstairs to see what they were up to and they were tenderizing meat. So friggin' annoying. They were polite about it though afterwards.
