Depends on who the friends are.
I have a group of friends I play volleyball with. Ill pay for everyone, especially if its a special occasion or one of them happens to be struggling. non-asian friends: dutch asian friends: split but more like we take turns paying in full. i wouldn't mind doing the latter with my non-asian friends but i'm guessing it's a cultural thing. sorta like not taking off your shoes when inside.. the f is up with that? thankfully none of my friends are that degenerate. --- ... with good friends/family/etc we either split it or take turns, just depends on how many people are there(2-3 ppl is usually turns, 4+ is split)
