CDMA is dead almost everywhere in the world and only garbage Sprint and slightly less garbage Verizon have been dumb enough to keep it, at least among major carriers. T-Mobile can leverage the Sprint towers for both legacy voice and LTE until the repurpose or decom. Good experience from tearing down the old MetroPCS network should make this a quick transition.
