so the movie is hype but can someone provide non-spoiler flaws of the movie that critics apparently noticed since it's currently rated lower than many of the other MCU movies according to metacritic?

though it's still on par with the original avengers which i think is easily one of the most rewatchable movies in the MCU.

Agreed. I believe Winter Soldier is still the all-around best movie, but - and don't take this the wrong way - it was a lower bar to set because it was a much more grounded and tightly-focused movie compared to the rest of the MCU. Civil War had its flaws, but it of course had plenty of highs, and proved that the Russos could quite effectively handle a much larger ensemble cast.

But even having such respect already for what the Russos did for this franchise, I was still unprepared for how good this movie turned out. The flaws will start showing once the initial hype wears off of course, but holy fuck did they hurdle the bar over what I was realistically expecting. Very minor screentime gripes aside, I seriously can't believe how well they handled this massive cast of characters.

Im really hoping Rune King Thor shows up. He goes through the trials, helps kill Thanos & goes off to be omnipotent, leaving the hammer to one Beta Ray Bill. Decent send off for Thor & Hemsworth IMO. Id be kinda annoyed if Captain Marvel shows up and is the big hero.

Yeah but if that happens, that means he won't join the Guardians. :<

I'm debating on seeing it a third time tomorrow....

I'm going to probably see it a second time Sunday with my friend. We both saw it separately but both are excited to see it again.

Imagine thinking Infinity Wars is better than Winter Soldier. Infinity Wars is nonstop action where no one gets enough time to do any growing or be further fleshed out.

Yeah, it really bugged me how Rocket and Thor wouldn't stop furiously punching each other during Rocket's 'captain' moment *rolls eyes.*

Oh my bad. I didn't know my sig was relevant to the movie. I didn't realize saying it's not as good as Winter Soldier is an outlandish opinion when that seems to be a critic consensus. Several critics have commented on the amount of action too. But hey I get it. You can't accept a dissenting opinion so you're just gonna spam zero quality strawman posts. That's fine. The movie was a bit too heavy on the action, yeah.

Hell, that's one of the reasons Thanos was the best character in the film. Most of the few quiet moments were dedicated to him, lol

That said, I honestly found the film underwhelming. And was honestly really miffed we didn't get the title of Avengers 4.

While true, they could still have easily fucked it up. Not only did they not, he stole the fucking show in a movie with an ass ton of great characters.
