Ugh, Mustangs are shit. And apparently around my way, so are all the people who own and drive them. Every time I see someone driving extra shitty on the road, more often than not it's some douche in a Mustang (double whammy if they have a corny Cardinals license plate too).

Everybody is buying crossovers and suvs, the car market in the US has been shrinking for quite a while. Even the Accord is having problems when it was always a huge seller

My Contour was constantly having problems years ago. My Chevy has only had one issue with the ignition locking the key in place and I had to pull a fuse to get the car to turn off. Got a recall notice about it about a month later. That was the only issue I've had with it, knock on wood, and I've had it since 2009.

Nothing crazy about it. People are transitioning to trucks, SUVs and hatchbacks. That's where the money is.

I think the real reason is that there is no incentive for a person to buy a large or midsize sedan when they can get a crossover that gives just as much cargo space, if not more

Also the Camry and Accord have like 80% of the midsize market together. Everything else is just a relative drop in the bucket.

Not being an asshole is a pretty good incentive tbh. But noooooooooo I care too much what some idiot across the street who doesn't care thinks of me. And who cares if that thought is "they're an asshole who blocks everyone's line of vision while driving" if it's qualified with "who can spend $50k on a consumable."

a crossover is basically a more practical compact or midsized car, it's the same kind of chassis, & you can get them for a lot cheaper than 50k lol
