I'm not disputing that. It's the idea that all that variance can somehow be filtered down into 16 categories.

I've taken the test multiple times and, while the I and J are constant, I've gotten every conceivable combination for the middle two letters - on iterations where it gives a percentage for each quality, the middle two tend to be really close to 50/50 on both sides. Of all the ways I could deal with that, the only one which makes sense to me is to just discard the test.

INTJ, it never changes no matter what (useless) online quiz I take, and I even had a few month stretch of boredom where I did one a month from a different place and cleared my mind and just picked what I was feeling/gelling with at that current mood.

That said, I feel it is absolutely useless. I am the most sociable, friendly, empathetic and people-person minded person that I know. Sure I prefer to be alone most of the time and recharge away from people or conversation. I can be an asshole, sarcastic, condescending etc but this INTJ crap makes me sound like Sherlock or House and that's simply not the case. I don't take any credence in it ,and have actually related more to astronomy bull than myers stuff.

Though I've gotten intp the most, followed by entp second most.
