4chan trolls were spreading disinformation claiming that the Facebook post in question was made after the attack, but in actuality it was posted just before.

Minassian made a court appearance Tuesday morning, where he was charged with 10 counts of first-degree murder and 13 counts of attempted murder in connection with a vehicle rampage on Torontos Yonge Street Monday afternoon.

The pages only post appears to have been published just before the attack, at 1:27 p.m. (In the archived copy, the timestamp appears in GMT, the time in London.

Not merely a case of "mental illness" (for actual mental illness, see the Waffle House shooter), but straight up misogynist terrorist.

How many such terrorists have there been?

1. Marc Lapine (incel school shooter who killed multiple random women whom he called "feminists").

2. George Sodini (incel who shot and killed three women at a fitness club)

3. Elliot Rodger, the incel messiah whom the latest incel terrorist called "the supreme gentleman".

4. Abderrahman Bouanane (perhaps not an incel but he did say this at his trial, My target was to hit women, not men I was in war against women, )

FTR, this man was Arcan Cetin, who was suspected by some of having a misogynistic motive given the victim profiles and some "witnesses" alleging that he called out random female names as he was shooting people. It appears though that he just wanted to kill random people for infamy. Had originally planned to carry out the shooting at the theater located in the mall, but eventually settled on Macy's after his theater plan became too risky.

Another possible misogynist terrorist;

John Russell Houser (killed two women and injured nine others at a theater that was playing the feminist theme movie Trainwreck). Some people who knew him claimed that he hated women.

Toronto police have now confirmed that Alec posted the message.

The Incel subculture isn't right or left wing. Plenty of incels are left wing, like "Eurasian writer" who created the hapa incel reddit board that caters to anti-white incel SJWs who hate white men who date Asian women (they blame white racism for this). While others, like Elliot Rodger himself, was right wing.

Alec identified as an incel and so did Roger. Sodini was certainly an incel though the term wasn't around during his time. I'm not sure about the Finnish mass stabber though, but he certainly hated women and so he qualifies as a misogynist terrorist.

I don't understand incels at all. I'd sleep with virtually anyone who is even modestly attractive and practices good hygiene. This idea that women have unreasonable expectations is absurd.
