It's so horribly laid out. The left stick placement is one thing, but the biggest problem is the grips. They are not comfortable or ergonomic at all and quite frankly way too small. I'm finding after using it for a few hours where my pinky, ring, and middle fingers hold the controller just fucking ache. It just does not feel natural at all to hold the damn thing. It's really poorly designed.

And then there's the 5 hour battery life....

I rate the generic switch controllers very high simply because you get so much bang for buck out of them.

I'd say Xbox 360/Xbox One and Switch Pro are about tied.

PS4 controller has weak battery life and I really hated the touch pad.

It also has the massive power eating light bar because reasons

Best controller is xbox one, hands down.

The face button layout is very ergonomic and the buttons themselves are easily identifiable. You will never accidentally press one button thinking it's another. It's also very comfortable to hold. The biggest flaw is the d-pad, but thankfully most GCN games never use it.

I'm okay with it, but the share button is pointless and the touch screen thing is just a waste of space. I haven't had issues with it from a functional or comfort standpoint, though.

The Switch pro controller is fantastic, though. Fits in my hands incredibly well.

Switch Pro is just repeating all of the same mistakes as the 360 that Wii U Pro fixed. Better buttons and sticks than 360 at least, but it's just an uncomfortable fat brick with shapeless handles and bad stick placement. Wii U Pro has sexy curves with everything in the right spots, and the best battery life of any controller ever made.

You must be a noob gamer if you as accidentally press a button that you think is a different button. I've never had this problem with any controller ever. That c stick made no sense.

The Dualshock 4 is one of the worst controllers of all time in terms of quality. Fucking buttons get stuck, triggers break for no good reason, battery life is absolute shit. It's objectively the worst current gen controller.

Xbox One Elite controller is the best controller ever made. Sony should take some notes. Fuck, even Nintendo made a wireless rechargeable controller that has over 20 hours of battery life, easy. You're lucky if you can get 3 out of a DS4.

but in the time it takes me to run out of juice on the xbox controller, i've had to recharge my ps4 controller like 5 or 6 times.

Playstation has garbage unergonomic controllers and the 360 is very widely regarded as being the most ergonomic.

Whatever else you can say about the Wii U they still had a pro controller model with 60+ hours of battery life.

I like the DS4 but that's mostly just because the triggers aren't as shit as the DS3 and the D-Pad finally feels good on a DualShock

GC controller has the best triggers ever and the gated sticks are good, but that D-Pad is the worst I've ever used, the one shoulder button is has is trash, and the face button layout while great for some games doesn't work for all

Granted I don't own a PS4, but whenever I'm playing on my friend's the Share button fucks me up.

You have to change the settings for it to do that. By default pressing it simply opens a menu and even if you change the settings to easy screenshot mode it merely takes a screenshot with a press.

You'd have to repeatedly press the button at once for it to save video.
