I don't think it should be illegal, especially since it's a godsend for those going through opioid withdrawals. It's a God send cause it's an opioid lol The FDA declares it one --- "All I have is my balls and my word, and I don't break them for anyone!"-Tony Montana ... Copied to Clipboard!

"Majumdars study found that unlike morphine, a synthetic compound derived from kratom (mitragynine pseudoindoxyl) does not lead to harmful side effects like slowed breathing -- called respiratory depression -- constipation, and physical dependence. Since most deaths from opioid overdose are because of respiratory depression, he believes kratom merits further study to see if some of its compounds can be harnessed for medical benefits that are potentially less addictive. " Yeah, opioids mixed with other drugs, like alcohol, are the biggest causes of death with abuse. Im glad that kratom didnt get a schedule 1, because they tried to do it. Anything schedule 1 can't even be researched in the US, which is stupid --- "All I have is my balls and my word, and I don't break them for anyone!"-Tony Montana ... Copied to Clipboard!

I mean you definitely shouldn't abuse it, just like you shouldn't abuse alcohol, but it's less addictive than other pain meds, so a ban seems like it would be just to satisfy big pharma imo.

Bans of any substance is redic in my book. Kratom just needs to be researched more before people start making big claims.
To me its like marijuana, its got its ups and downs, but man is it annoying to see people claim it as a miracle drug. Worst part is that it's scheduled as a 1 and we can't even research it here -.- Cheers to the rest of the world's research though --- "All I have is my balls and my word, and I don't break them for anyone!"-Tony Montana ...
