Rockies are poop

You ever get a haircut you hate so much you think about quitting your job and never leaving the house again

No but usually I get my hair cut and I'm disappointed and then I just end up getting the same cut again the next time anyway. Usually I just cut my own hair but yesterday I had it cut for me because I was lazy

Edit: Actually more so I had it cut because I have a job interview coming up. When I cut it myself I do a decent job with the sides and front but there are usually little fuck-ups in the back that I don't catch till a couple days later

I totally forgot until my mom mentioned it but I have my cousin's wedding in like three weeks too lol

I've had a streak of good hair cuts lately. I've finally figured out how I like it, although I'd be willing to play with how it looks even more.

Good luck on the big interview chew man

My recent haircuts have been pretty good. I mean it looks horrible until I throw some goop on my head but I guess that's probably normal. After my most recent haircut though it was my dad's birthday and the next day he emailed me to tell me how good my hair looked and I'm still furious about that

If I get this job (or any job) I think I might just let my hair grow out. Only if I'm allowed to wear hats though because I know growing my hair out can get a little rough

I'm going to start wearing a fedora to work.

I've lurked at Baseboard a lot since the season started and I swear like half the topics there are just Red Sox and Yankees fans trolling each other with a bunch of juvenile jokes. That board is not nearly as cool as I remember it

The player name pun topics are also far less frequent and less funny

I used to be worried that I would lurk there after I left but I can't even look at it for more than like 10 seconds. It's so stupid and so boring

Every now and then I think of a good pun topic and get a little disappointed that I can't make it. Example:

I'm willing to bet half of my department has worn a fedora unironically at some point in time.

On that note, how is your relationship with your co-workers? I have a couple that I like, one that I'm becoming good friends with, and the rest irritate me.

I mostly get along with them. There are a few old guys that everyone hates and I also hate them. But I'm not rushing to hang out with anybody outside of the job.

I like all my co-workers except one.

I made friends with a decent amount of my co-workers, and I'm glad, cause most of my college friends moved away after graduation. But there was this one guy from work who I secretly hated who started ending up in a lot of the circles of work people I'd hang out with, so that kind of put a damper on everything

Edit: The guy I hated would talk about reading stuff on 4chan (he actually said stuff like "social justice warriors" out loud), vape constantly, and frequently talk about how he can't get laid. He's not actually as awkward as all that sounds, it was more of a slow realization on my part that he's an asshole

There's one person there who I hate more than I've ever hated anyone I've ever met and I have to talk to him a lot. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I hope he dies. He's a terrible person who makes my life significantly worse by existing.

Everyone else is at least fine besides my psycho boss. None of them qualify as friends though. It's part of the weird city vs country disconnect in St. Louis. They're all county folk so I find them to be odd and ignorant. They're the kind of white people who loudly hate trump and also look for chances to say the n word

The lightning have scored on both their power plays. The second was a horrible high sticking phantom call, but still. Kill a penalty, Caps.

That was a real bad miss by the refs though. Don't know how the Caps left the cross ice pass stay open for the Lightning to serve an easy one-timer to Stamkos, though.

Oh they just said during the intermission that the first goalie interference call should've been hooking on the lightning.

That one was a lot easier to miss though. And they don't call that a lot in the playoffs.

Thanks for the update. I'm not actually so sure anymore if I want one because I feel like I've gotten tired of all the good NES games and there's a lot of junk on there. It's probably a good idea to get one just in case though

Yeah, same here. I've seen SNES Classics at my Walmart several times since they came out, so if it's anything like that it shouldn't be too hard to get. I'd probably just mod mine if I get one, although I can't think of many NES games I like that it's missing (other Mega Mans I guess but you can get those in so many forms already)

The Caps old logo and uniforms were better and I'll disagree with anyone who says otherwise.

The Rockies have another series against the Padres tonight. This is like the fourth or fifth series they've had against them already but I only remember one other series against a different division team so far (Diamondbacks)

Are you guys excited for sports betting to be legalized? The supreme court ruled that states can allow it now individually. Missouri already has legislation in the works. I probably won't ever really do it but when it comes up I'll vote in favor of it. Why the hell not. Betting on sports is fun but going to the casino isn't really my thing so I'll probably only make bets at Busch stadium assuming they get a sports book going around there

Yeah, it's been that way with the Giants and Dodgers as well. The scheduling has been odd so far this year.

I didn't know anything about sports betting being legalized until you mentioned it, but I'm glad to hear it. People should be allowed to have their fun. I personally won't be gambling, since I have bad luck, and when the money is gone I think about how many hours I spent working for nothing.

I don't see myself ever betting on anything.

I wish we were playing the Dodgers more now since they've had a bit of a rough start to the season and they'll probably be good by the end of the year. But in the end the Rockies are just not a very good team, so it doesn't really matter.

I don't think I'll really bet on sports but I'm fine with them legalizing. I might do one of those silly bets like put $20 on the Browns to win the Super Bowl if I don't have to leave Colorado to do it

I don't see myself betting on anything. At least this may put an end to those who try (and always fail) to get fantasy sports shutdown because they argue its a form of gambling.

This is what I want to do. I'm not really interested in sitting at a bar and seeing if my parleys work out or whatever. I mean I would do that I guess if other people wanted to but mainly I want to make bets on season long things. But even then just a few bucks
