I think it's the right to have bear arms if I'm not mistaken.

Oh its the gun one, Don't see a reason people need guns to be honest, though i do live in a country where its illegal to own one (in most cases)

To be more specific, it's the right to bear arms generally so people can start a militia if necessary, but is not restricted to militia use so the government can't just look at who's getting guns to guess who plans to rebel on them.

Because the US is corrupt AF and they know it so the public feels the need to keep a gun at their head to make them behave. They don't know how to actually fix the problem so they sure as hell aren't going to put down their gun and let the government arse-ravage them as they keep trying every day.

There is a gun in every room in my house and I don't have a pile of bodies outside. When they come to take said guns the story shall be different. Those guys would defend you before the police, go support em.

I guess it must, because they don't kill nearly as many people in countries with strict gun control.

Apart from the ones where they do. It's more a matter of competent policing than gun control really.

Yes, apart from the ones where they do, which is... none of them, actually. None of the first world ones at any rate.

The US murder rate is higher than all its contemporaries and not just by a little bit either - it's roughly triple the next runner up. Not coincidentally, the US also has the loosest gun laws in the developed world by a mile.

But keep telling yourself that guns keep you safe. I'm sure it'll bear out one of these days.
