I have these two fish called convicts, and they killed everything else in my tank after they had their fries. I don't no what to do. I don't want to keep these murder fish and their murder babies, but I don't want to cull them either . I am thinking of throwing them all into the turtle tank and let nature happen but that was be just as bad as the culling .

My cousins did the same with some fish that they caught in a lake. The lake fish ended up eating all their fish.

Convicts when protecting their young are among the most vicious you can have in your aquarium. I had a pair breed at my old job and I couldn't even put my hand in the tank without getting bit. They are insanely protective.

I'd sell off the babies, and either separate the adults or get rid of them.

Bring in a couple of bigger, edible fishes to exterminate the whole clan.

After that, cook the bigger fishes for dinner.

I'd give them away, though I definitely understand your frustration, so I wouldn't judge you for throwing it into the turtle tank (I actually did the same thing once when I had a red crab that killed two of my fish and my tadpole that was midway to becoming a frog. Was so pissed off since it was the third attempt I made at raising a frog that I tossed the crab in my turtle's tank and let him eat it)

I know it's kind of a shitty thing to do, but it really hurts to have one bad apple fuck all your hard work up.

I have never sold fish before it it a hard process ? I Wish I could just but them in a bowl and give to someone like people do puppies.

I had to other convicts before and they were ok, they would chase stuff away but they would live with other people. Something happen in my tank and every one died.

The odd fact is that these new convicts who are killing up everyone are the spawn of those two who did before . I would have guesses they would have to same temperament .

When I was a kid we bought some tiny goldfish for one of our bigger fish to eat. One goldfish survived and grew big enough to eat the big fish. Fish tanks are hardcore, man.

My dad sells bags of angel fish to the local store. Super easy. Convicts are popular too so I don't imagine it would be any more difficult.
