Is he wrong? The world is more populated now than its been ever been, so going by just the raw numbers for human trafficking, I would think its at least pretty high up there. Percentage of people being trafficked might be much better though, but the raw numbers could very reasonable be one of the worst

The neighborhood I grew up in had 500 human trafficking arrests just in 2016.
