generally a concentration is in your major. a minor is something outside your major. i generally view a good minor as more well rounded than any number of concentrations as an interviewer.

I did a concentrated degree, but doing a minor/double major is probably better- it also depends on how many credits it takes to get the minor degree. Unless you're really into your major, or if your major is interdisciplinary, then a concentration isn't that useful.
EDIT: of course what you want to use the degree for also matters. A concentration in computer science makes more sense than a concentration in English. --- let's positive thinking [this post tastes like lunch] ... Copied to Clipboard!

It doesn't matter. Just take classes in areas that you think will be complementary.
