The Negan introduction. Probably the best scene in the entire show and ruined by a garbage cliff hanger. That scene was legit terrifying and I was on the edge of the seat shaking and it's fucking intense. Great acting and music design.

I love the music in that scene even though it's super minimalist. It sounds like Korn doing a guitar check before a big show... as if Negan is a rockstar and this is his pre-show warm-up.

The pacing / episode structure / cliffhangers / whatever you want to call it... those really sucked the fun out of that whole season though, I agree.

I stopped watching the show long before that, but I thought it was hilarious how secret they were with it. Suing people and shit. And then...Negan just kills the same dude he killed in the comic. *gasp*

Glenn was the real heart of the show. After that there was no reason to care anymore. That they made the show hilariously bad after that point was just the diarrhea icing on the shit cake.

I tuned in to see who was gonna die to get my closure and then noped out. Haven't been back since.

Same here. The show was getting terrible after the Hunters arc, but that was the last straw for me.

The drama falls apart when the cliffhanger isn't "Will someone die?" and has become "Who is gonna die?" death basically becomes cheap and you don't really get the emotion you would when the death was actually unexpected.
